AMP Keywords uses cookies to move users from non-secure to secure pages. If a cookie cannot
be set, as a security precaution, a user's session is ended and the user is returned to the login page
where a session expiration message is displayed.
To avoid this happening please make sure your browser is enabled to receive Third Party Cookies.
For Internet Explorer 6 and 7:
At the top of your browser on the Task Bar:
1. Choose Tools
2. Then choose Internet Options
3. Click the Privacy tab
4. Set your setting to Medium security, which will allow you to accept cookies.
5. Click the Advanced button and make sure 'First- Party Cookies' and 'Third-Party Cookies'
are accepted. Also check the "Always allow session cookies" box and click the 'OK' button).
For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Choose Tools
2. Then choose Options
3. Click on 'Privacy' from the top navigation bar
4. Choose the 'Cookies' tab
5. Check the box 'Allow site to set Cookies'
6. Click 'OK'
In addition to setting your browser to accept cookies, please make sure you are not running any
applications that might restrict cookies from being set. These applications include firewalls, ad
blockers, pop-up blockers and security systems like Norton Internet Security and Zone Alarm. These applications
should be disabled during setup if you are seeing session expirations.
Also AMP Keywords expires your session after half an hour of inactivity. Therefore, if you leave
your account unattended for over half an hour, you will see 'Session Expired'.
If you have followed these steps and are still seeing session expirations please log a case with
customer support by clicking on the 'contact us' link on the homepage.
